'During the Sing-Off Grassi mostly sung harmonies with Maldonado while Hoying led, some songs saw Grassi singing lead in verses or chorus's but none more so than the bridge of their final performance "The Dog Days Are Over', originally by Florence and The Machine. Maldonado refered to him as "their secret weapon" when asked about it. Grassi says he is influenced by electronic, house and pop music. He also DJs often, and is honing his skill alongside being a lead vocalist in Pentatonix
